The part I liked most about making this podcast was being able to show and talk about the characters that I have developed over the years. It was a fun assignment to do. A bit challenging but still fun to complete. It was my first podcast that I have ever made and I enjoyed putting it together, even if it's just okay I'm still pretty proud of it.
In this virtual classroom, it contains links to music I enjoy using while working on writing assignments, studying or drawing. There are links to a warehouse that I always go to for all of my supplies, a digital drawing site that I recently discovered that is easy to understand and a website that assist with inspiration for style. Lastly I have created links to videos I have saved on Youtube that has helped me with my art, such as figure drawing, how to draw faces or character designing which still is a kink I am learning to touch up and how to find your style since I have yet to have an establish style, those videos were one of the few I came across and enjoyed their tips. Making this classroom was really enjoyable, I didn't realize how many resources I have saved to help me with my artworks or inspire to venture out in new styles. Personally, music is a big part of helping me focus on assignments or inspire me to create an artwork from the emotional impact of the song and I figured I could share at least two videos that I enjoy going to every time I begin a new assignment. Art Gallery
Creating this art gallery was a very fun assignment and so far one of my personal favorites out of all of the assignments I have done. Being able to have the opportunity to research new artist and discovering artworks that I adored, and including them in the art gallery was absolutely fun. I think Dark-surrealism is an interesting genre to discuss about because they could appear the same while presenting in different forms. Stop Motion Animation
There was a lot of procrastination during the development of this assignment and it was solely due to the fact that I have never created a stop motion animation and was very anxious. However, after measuring, drawing and coloring the two puppets I became less anxious and excited about creating the animation since I was gonna go with a summary of how my two characters met. In the end, the animation was cringy but to me it is a cute cringy animation.
How to Tutorial
This final for ART305 was actually one of my favorites since I was given freedom of what my tutorial could be. I decided to go with making paper puppets since I had so much fun making puppets for my stop motion animation. The first time I made paper puppets was back in elementary school and little me was impressed when the puppet moved. Since it was a core childhood memory I thought it would be fun to use it as final. I know this might be aimed for younger audience like elementary (between Kindergarten- third grade) but since I nearly forgot about paper fasteners and making puppets, I figured young adults in highschool who are artist or are interested in film, this tutorial could be a way for them to be inspired to make their creations come to life easily.
